A method for nickel-catalyzed asymmetric carbon dioxide (CO2) incorporation via carbon-carbon bond formation was developed. In the presence of a catalytic amount of Ni(acac)2 and MeO-MOP, various bis-1,3-dienes reacted with CO2 (1 atm) and a diorganozinc reagent (Me2Zn or Ph2Zn) to afford cyclic carboxylic acids in good yields (71-100%) and with high enantioselectivities (90-96% ee). 相似文献

A frequency comb spanning more than one octave has been achieved by injecting the second-harmonic generation (780 nm) of a mode-locked fiber laser (1.56 microm) into a photonic crystal fiber. We propose and realize a novel interferometric scheme for observing the carrier-envelope offset frequency of the frequency comb. Frequency noise has been observed on the measured carrier-envelope offset frequency, which has been confirmed to be generated in the photonic crystal fiber by comparing the measured beat frequencies between cw lasers and frequency combs before and after the photonic crystal fiber. The mode-locked fiber laser is considered to be an important candidate for the light source used in realizing a compact optical frequency measurement system including applications in the telecommunication bands. 相似文献

We have applied a time‐resolved means of measurement for studying living plants. The intake of mineral nutrients in a living plant such as stevia has been observed by this measuring instrument. A solution containing K, Ca, Mn, Fe, Cu, and Zn compounds was used as the mineral nutrient solution. The concentrations of the standard solutions were specifically chosen to obtain optimal intensities of the x‐ray peaks. The time dependence of the x‐ray fluorescence (XRF) intensity showed specific intake processes depending on the type of element. In addition, the experimental results suggest differences in the translocation of each element in the stevia stem. A rare sugar is considered to be a monosaccharide rarely found in nature. To investigate their natural distribution and biological roles, a robust analytical system must be used to isolate, identify, and quantify them. Herein, we report the development of such a system that can specifically quantify and chromatographically separate four aldopentoses and eight aldohexoses tagged with 2-aminopyridine. Purified monosaccharides derivatized with a pyridylamino moiety (PA–monosaccharides) are first chromatographed over a high-performance anion-exchange resin. But, because two of the PA–aldohexoses used in this study, PA–talose and PA–idose, co-elute with the common saccharides, PA–glucose and PA–mannose, respectively, a second chromatographic step, reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography, is used to completely separate them. Thus, as shown by the results of this study, chromatographic separation of PA–monosaccharides is achievable and provides a quantitative measurement of common and rare isomeric aldopentoses and aldohexoses. 相似文献

The enantiomeric resolution of N-t-butyloxycarbonyl (N-t-Boc) amino acids D/L isomers by reversed-phase HPLC was investigated using cyclodextrins (CD's) as chiral selectors for the mobile phase. The use of a low pH (pH<4) for the mobile phase enabled the enantioseparation of N-t-Boc amino acids. The opposite elution order of D/L isomers was observed when hydroxypropyl-derivatized beta-CD was used instead of native beta-CD. A computer simulation of the enantioseparation showed that the ratio of the retention factors of the chiral selector and the sample determined the elution order and the resolution. When the retention factor of the chiral selector is smaller than that of the sample, an isomer having larger complex formation constant eluted faster. However, when the chiral selector had a larger retention factor than the sample, an opposite elution order of the isomers was obtained. The large difference in the retention factors between the chiral selector and the sample led to good enantiomeric separation. 相似文献

A simple and rapid in situ preconcentration method for the determination of phosphate in environmental waters has been developed for field analysis. This method is based on solid-phase extraction on a zirconium-loaded Sep-Pack Accell CM cartridge (Zr-SP) and is applicable to studies in which sampling is performed by use of a graduated syringe to prevent contamination and to ensure easy operation at sampling sites. The Zr-SP cartridge was prepared by passing 0.1 mol L–1 zirconium solution through a Sep-Pak Accell CM cartridge, packed with cation exchange sorbent based on a silica matrix. The adsorption of phosphate and its desorption depend only on the pH of the solution. A water sample containing phosphate was adjusted to pH 2 and passed through the Zr-SP cartridge to collect it. The retained phosphate was quantitatively eluted with 0.5 mol L–1 sodium hydroxide solution. The phosphate retained in the Zr-SP cartridge was stable for at least one month. The established preconcentration method was successfully applied to brackish lake waters to investigate seasonal changes in the distribution and behavior of phosphate in a brackish lake. 相似文献
